During his undergraduate studies, Arpan co-founded Clarivent Medical, aiming to mitigate the ventilator shortage by innovating in the respiratory care device space. He played a pivotal role in obtaining government funding and forming strategic partnerships for the development of Clarivent's flagship product, the Clarivent Bubble Helmet, which is currently under clinical investigation. Originating from a background in construction and architecture, Arpan gained early exposure through his family's construction business. Over four years, he honed his skills in building design, mastering CAD software to collaborate with structural engineers and architects primarily on single-family homes, alongside managing labor and overseeing site visits. Arpan obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Engineering and Commerce at the University of British Columbia.
