Nazuk Thakkar

Naz is focused on managing the entire investment process, and supporting companies post investment through co-investor and corporate development infrastructure.

Naz previously worked at NYC based deep-tech fund Trend Forward Capital and helped build out the Ontario chapter for Front Row Ventures. She was also the first-hire at Ruby, a venture backed CPG startup based in NYC, focused on operations and building out their sales and marketing engine.

At the forefront of her work, Naz is passionate about making venture more diverse, equitable and inclusive by working on initiatives with founders and funders alike to support underrepresented folx in the industry. Her initiatives include serving as a program manager and alumna of the RippleX Fellowship Program, which supports young builders across North America.

Additionally, she developed the first venture capital course taught at Queen's University, her alma mater, to democratize access to industry knowledge. She has hosted 40+ ecosystem events all around the world and is a community builder at heart. Beyond her professional endeavors, Naz is an avid powerlifter and a certified personal trainer!
