Katie Ko

As an Associate at Ripple Ventures, Katie plays a pivotal role in shaping the fund’s investment strategies and managing the RippleX Fellowship. She regularly hosts events for founders & funders, with her most recent endeavour running Dwell & Swell – a weekly co-working sessions for founders at the Ripple office (shoot her a Linkedin DM for the invite)!

Before joining the fund, Katie held product and growth role at several venture-backed tech startups, such as Bindo Labs (NYC based fintech startup), and Nosh (meal kit startup backed by Alibaba), amongst others. She was also a Fellow at the Ivey Product Society during her time at Western University.

Her journey into venture capital began with Front Row Ventures, Canada’s first student-run VC fund, where she served on theOntario Investment Team. In this role, she forged strategic partnerships with universities and accelerators across the country and supported various student ventures. Prior to that, Katie co-founded Singla Intimates, a sustainable lingerie brand where she led marketing and growth efforts.

With experiences living in Hong Kong and Copenhagen, Katie is a passionate traveler and avid photographer, and she thrives on exploring diverse cultures and capturing the beauty of her adventures.
