FlyBi was founded in 2023 by Mohamed Mohamed, who brings over six years of experience in the airline industry, where he started as a Ground Operator and eventually became an Operations Manager, managing 25 airline contracts for significant carriers like Etihad, Emirates, and American Airlines. His biggest challenge was the disordered flow of operational data at large airports, where no unified system existed to manage it effectively. To address this, Mohamed developed a successful prototype using Excel and VBA to automate data entry and reporting. After Prime Flight Aviation Services acquired his company, the issues worsened, prompting Mohamed to leave and focus on building FlyBi. We met Mohamed at a Founder Event in July 2024 and, impressed by his deep industry insight, supported FlyBi’s development and quickly advanced the company through our investment process.
