Our Story: Ripple Ventures and

Canonical

The company was founded in 2023 by Mischa & Tahin, who met during their tenure at Stripe. During their time, they developed a strong working relationship and a shared passion for addressing the inefficiencies and shortcomings of manual risk analysis in the financial services industry. They would often meet up on Sundays to discuss the latest consent orders issued by the FDIC, recognizing the growing regulatory pressure faced by banks and the need for a more automated, data-driven approach to risk management.

We met Canonical through a VC referral and were immediately impressed with the team and their deep understanding of the industry. They both had immense operational experience and unparalleled empathy for fintech workflows.
